quotes

Deprecated

Formatting rules now live in eslint-stylistic. @stylistic/ts/quotes is the replacement for this rule.
See Deprecating Formatting Rules for more information.

Enforce the consistent use of either backticks, double, or single quotes.

🔧

Some problems reported by this rule are automatically fixable by the --fix ESLint command line option.

This rule extends the base eslint/quotes rule. It adds support for TypeScript features which allow quoted names, but not backtick quoted names.

Options

See eslint/quotes options.

How to Use

.eslintrc.cjs
module.exports = {
"rules": {
// Note: you must disable the base rule as it can report incorrect errors
"quotes": "off",
"@typescript-eslint/quotes": "error"
}
};
